Five hundred years ago, the Church refused to look through Galileo’s telescope. No amount of evidence would suffice to displace the established belief of the Earth as the center of the solar system. The astronomical facts were irrelevant, until an expanded and higher view of the universe was adopted.
Today we face a similar paradigm shift. The dogma of materialism is the established belief of our secular world. Any hint of an expanded and higher spiritual view of the universe is dismissed as a regression to social constructs of a prerational and outdated stage of human evolution.
Accordingly, the human brain — having evolved by chance from the organic soup of the Big Bang — is believed to be the source of consciousness. Thus, as with any other computer, the brain can be programmed, either by social constructs or as the programmer wishes.
The Cartesian “I think, therefore I am” is construed to mean “I am my brain consciousness.” Therefore, the programmer can choose its identity. Human beings — flattened by their material equality with the artificial intelligence of computers — can thus join a new robotic race, liberated from outdated social constructs and devoid of any spiritual import.
A flattened matrix of material causes evolving in time defines two dimensions of existence: matter and time. In such 2-D world, robotic brains can either adopt the latest social fad (machine learning) or assert its individual choices of social role and identity, as in choosing favorite colors. There is no need for a higher guidance because there is no higher dimension.
However, blindness to a higher spiritual dimension does not negate its existence. Invisible electromagnetic fields had existed long before they were discovered by adequate instruments of perception. Humanity has invented powerful telescopes and microscopes to ascertain the outer world of material facts. Are we now in need of “intro-scopes” to reveal the inner world of spiritual meaning?
According to the Ageless Wisdom, there is a higher dimension — the depth of consciousness — complementing the dimensions of matter and time, around which our material existence revolves. The Soul — a Higher Self at the center of our psychological universe — bears witness of our true, spiritual identity.
A new Renascence would emerge out of such “psycho-centric” revelation.
Is there scientific evidence of such metaphysical reality? Like outer planets first detected by their motion impacting nearby planetary orbits, such evidence would be indirect, at first. For instance, the persistence of consciousness beyond the physical brain has been clinically documented by the consistent testimony of many near-death experiences. Furthermore, the preexistence of the reincarnating Soul has also been well documented by scientifically sound research on birthmarks in children recalling a previous life. Of course, dogmatic skeptics — then and now — would resort to complex epicyclic objections to explain away a far simpler truth: the fact of the Soul as the center — even if unconsciously — of our psychological universe, as the Sun is the center of the solar system.
We can imagine how such psycho-centric paradigm would reframe of current cultural debates and dilemmas on social issues, such as reproductive rights and gender identity. The conceiving womb would be viewed as the landing runway of an incoming human soul, with the air traffic controller — the woman, assisted by spiritual advisors — deciding the timing and the circumstances, as well as the karmic implications of her decision.
Likewise, the prepubertal kids and teenagers considering transgender hormonal treatment would ponder their decision in the light of the spiritual will of the Soul for that specific incarnation. I’m not referring to cases of true hermaphroditism, a rare cause frequently used to justify gender dysphoria as a new norm promoted by social media. If there are many life opportunities to express the natural masculine and feminine polarities, what would be the urgency of the “here and now” promoted by a secular materialism devoid of spirituality?
Of course, I’m aware that, at my age of 68, the younger generations would readily dismiss my views as old fashioned social constructs and patriarchal atavisms. I’m also well aware of the headwind provided by outworn religious expressions of similar theses.
I would reply by asking the younger generations: if planet Earth emerged from the Big Bang 4 billion years ago, what fraction of the world history is represented by the known (written) history of humanity?
Is the historical knowledge of the Lemurian and Atlantean periods forever lost? Is it possible that there exist — here on planet Earth — an ageless repository of material knowledge and spiritual wisdom addressing our planetary and human evolution since the beginning of time?
As consciousness evolves, isn’t the logical outcome of the Law of Reincarnation and Karma the achievement of more advanced stages of consciousness? Why should self-consciousness be considered the final outcome of the evolution of consciousness?
The observing consciousness of the scientist has been postulated to act as an effect modifier in experimental quantum physics. Can time and matter be mastered in more advanced stages of consciousness? Can masters of spirit over matter transcend the limitations of matter and time, earning the right to safeguard an Ageless Wisdom, the outcome of the evolution of consciousness on planet Earth, the solar system, and the universe?
Yes, these may be considered metaphysical propositions by the younger generations. Indeed, these questions are intended to lift their vision beyond the physical. Still, what make them invalid in our quest for meaning, and in the search for answers, about our pressing social dilemmas?
Postmodern secular humanity must discern between religion and spirituality, as suggested by Ken Wilber.
Most sophisticated developmental studies describe a movement from mythic absolutism (blue) and rational formalism (orange), through stages of pluralism and relativism (green), to stages of integralism and holism (yellow and turquoise). The green meme, effectively challenging the absolutisms of blue and orange, then mistook all universals and all holarchies as being of the same order, and this often locked it into first-tier thinking.

What may be considered metaphysical speculation by the rational mind may be ascertained as self-evident facts by the intuitive mind.
The concrete, rational mind may be considered as the sixth sense integrating the other five. Still, the development of a newer, seventh sense — the intuitive sense — may be the next frontier of human evolution, as we evolve from the 2-D (flat) world of material causes to the 3-D (spherical) world of spiritual meaning.
This paradigm shift would reenchant our postmodern world with majestic views of spiritual realities and a divine design, and our part in it.
This is the promise of the new Renascence, inaugurated by a psycho-centric revelation.

According to Ohm’s Law, power (P) can be measured in watts only when there is a material conductor offering some resistance to an electric current (I).
P = V x I, for V = I x R
In an electrical circuit, the current intensity (I) tends to infinity as the resistance (R) is decreased approximately to zero. Without resistance, a short circuit ensues, burning the conductor (Joule effect).

Cosmic love is an electric circuit, the expression of a polar force of attraction (voltage, V) making the current of life flow from one emitting pole to the receiving end, through some intermediary or conductor.
The energy of this power grid is generated by the Ursa Major, conducted by the Sirius solar system, and grounded by the Pleiades (Electra), completing an electric circuit, a circular flow of transmission and distribution of energy.

The Spirit of Peace is a high voltage, extraplanetary transformer of the cosmic energy of love in perfect balance, the perfect balance of peace. This cosmic circuit of love is the energy that moves the universe.
At the human level, Ohm’s Law indicates that love can approach infinity only by the gradual denial or sacrifice of the finitude of resistance (R) of self-interest or selfishness.

There is a limit to the human expression of this divine flow. It is defined by the amperage capacity of the conductive material embodied on the physical plane; a limit that is reset in the expansions of consciousness experienced at spiritual initiations. Then, the rod of initiation suitable for the voltage to be stabilized is applied, normalizing the electrical conduction, and preventing short circuits in the human frame.
When love can overcome the natural limitation of the human dimension, then we are faced with the mystery of the unfathomable power of life, a power —without polarity—immeasurable by Ohm’s Law.

In the meantime, we seek to love – and be loved – according to our limitations, moderating the intensity of the expression of love according to our circumstances, distributing its light current without producing voltage surges or short circuits, until we tread the path of supreme identification with the absolute oneness of Being, which simply is.
